Daveigh Chase is an American actress, singer, and model who came to limelight after being cast as Samantha Darko in the cult film Donnie Darko (2001). She gained further popularity by performing as a voice artist in a number of movies including the Disney feature film Lilo & Stitch (2002) where she provided the voice of Lilo Pelekai that fetched her numerous honors such as the Annie Awards in 2003 for “Outstanding Voice Acting in an Animated Feature Production”. She was brought up in Albany in Oregon.

She started singing and dancing in her hometown as well as in other local areas at community events and shows when she was only 3 years old.

Daveigh is a talented singer and back in 1999, she had joined a small band as the lead vocalist and taken the stage as an opening act for Reba McEntire and, later on, she had sung Holly Jolly Christmas for the album titled School’s Out!
